I was a military dog.と言うEurekaに困惑するRenton。“I don't get it. Why did they do this to you?”＝「わかんない。何で、みんな、君にこんなことをするんだろう。」、“Because I was responsible for so many deaths.”＝「しかたないんだよ、私は、ここで沢山の人を殺したんだから。」、“Annihilate all the people in this city.That was the mission given to us, the SOF.”＝「この町に住む全ての人間を殲滅すること、それが私たちSOFに与えられた任務だった。」
でもそれは、戦時に軍の特殊部隊SOFの一員として仕方なくやったことだろうとEurekaの過去の話をにわかに信じられないRenton。“You don't understand. We're still fighting a war, even now. What we're doing is not a game or a sport. Whenever I fight, people get hurt, sometimes lots even die. Maybe you have not realized it yet. But you are a part of everything that's going on as well. Part of this war.”＝「わかってない。今も 私は戦争をしている。私たちがやっていることは、ゲームでもスポーツでもない。私が戦うことで、人間たちは傷つき、死んでいく。多分気付いていないかもしれないけど、君もそれに加担しているんだよ。この戦争に。」 “We all want to atone for the sins we've committed in any way we can. But, more importantly, we have to stay alive no matter what. We have to stay alive, and make sure we complete our mission. And in order to do that I 'm wiｌling to do anything.”＝「私たちが犯した罪はどんな形でも償うつもり。でも、それ以上に大切なことは、どんなことがあっても生き延びて、使命を果たさなくちゃいけないの。そのためだったら何だってするわ。」。
“So then, that means you brought me to Gekko in order to fight?” ＝「それじゃー、Eureka、君は戦わせるために月光号に俺を連れてきたのかよ。」。 “I Brought you because Nirvash won't work properly without you. And if we don't have Nirvash, we won't be able to complete our mission.”＝「そうよ、君がいないとNirvashがちゃんと動かないもの。 Nirvashなしでは、私たちは使命を果たすことができないもの。」。 “What's that supposed to mean? I don't know anything about your mission or whatever it is.．．．Why did you rescue Maeter and the others when you were here? The fact is that you left the military because you don't want to keep killing innocent people just because someone ordered to you, right?”＝「何だよそれ。使命だか何だか知らないけどさ、だったらなんで、ここでMaeterたちを助けたんだよ。君が軍を抜けたのは、命令だからと言って、罪も無い人を殺し続けるのが嫌だったからだろう。」 “You're sitting there talking about missions and stuff. But, the way I see it, that's really no different from the orders the military gave you. Eureka you are lying to yourself.”＝「君はそこに座って、使命とか何とか言ってるけど、僕から見れば、そんなのは、軍の命令と何もちがってないじゃないか。Eureka、君は自分に嘘をついてるよ。」 “I'm going to use Nirvash to make military stop bombing. I can't just sit and watch Ms Tiptory and the others here get killed.”＝「僕は、Nirvashで、軍の爆撃を止めさせる。Tiptoryおばさんたちを見殺しにはできない。」軍は、未だにこの町への定時空爆を止めてはいなかったのだ。
その時、Rentonの気迫に応えるかのようにNirvashが勝手に始動する。“It's Nirvash. It's telling me I should do what you say.”＝「Nirvashが、Rentonに従えって言ってる。」とEurekaはNirvashの声を聞く。軍の空中戦艦を迎撃するためNirvashに乗って飛び立つEurekaとRenton。一人も殺さず空中戦艦を撤退させることに成功する。月光号へと帰途に着く途上、既に日は暮れて、夜空には満月がかかっている。月光を浴びて飛ぶNirvashの中の二人、“They say this is a place that makes everyone choose something. So, that means that you must have chosen something here, too. I think what you chose to do here a long time ago is really something amazing and even now the fact that it's amazing doesn't change in the same way that this place doesn't change.”＝「ここって、みんなに何かを選ばせる場所なんだって。だから、Eurekaだってきっとここで何かを選んでいたんだ。君が昔ここで選んだことは、本当にすごいことなんだ。そしてそのことは、今も変わっちゃいない。この場所が変わらないのと同じようにね。」 “You know Eureka, it doesn't matter what choices you made in the past, I still believe in you.”＝「Eureka、君がたとえどんなことを前に選んでいたとしても、俺は君を信じるよ。」。 “I have changed. At least, I think I have. Ever since you came and joined us, I think I have changed.”＝「変わった。私変わっちゃったかもしれない。君が来てから、私、変わちゃったかもしれない。」と、Ciudades Del Cieloでの一日の出来事でおそらく生まれて初めて生じた感情に感極まってしまい、涙を流すEurekaであった。
帰艦したRentonを待っていたのは、Gekkostate正式メンバーの証、Ref Board Wheelだった。
